ROCK HILL, SC :::::::::: Mr. Gerald D. Baker, age 76, of 1 Church Street, died Monday, January 23, 2012 at Agape Hospice. He was born November 29, 1935 in York County, the son of the late Farld Baker and Sue Lea Crenshaw Baker. Mr. Baker retired from Georgia Pacific and served our great country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Baker is survived by is 2 daughters, Crystal Edwards and her husband Benny of Catawba, SC, and Cindy Hernandez of Rock Hill, 2 brothers, Buddy Baker and Jim Baker both of Rock Hill, and 2 grandchildren, Ben Edwards and Jordan Edwards. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Baker will be 3:30 pm Thursday, January 26, 2012 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home. The Family of Mr. Baker will receive friends from 3:00 - 3:30 pm Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Hartley Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Crystal and Benny Edwards, 301 Skyview Drive, Catawba, SC.
