FORT MILL, SC –Mr. George "Jeff" Terah Gough, age 90, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023. He was born June 16, 1932, son of the late Terah Gough and Mary Charlotte Pendleton Gough and was the husband of Rita Bateman Gough. Mr. Gough was an Engineer and owner operator of his own food processing business, Gough Holdings Engineering. He was an avid golfer and in his younger years enjoyed playing soccer and tennis.

Mr. Gough is survived by his wife, Rita Gough; his three children, Angela Gallagher, Andrew Gough (Amelia), and Jane Bourne; former son-in-law, Mark Gallagher; four grandchildren, Amie Lam (Matthew), Emma Gallagher (Stokes), Kristian Gough (Mia), and Matthew Gough (Lauren); and six great grandchildren.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Gough will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 6, 2023, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. David Bender. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.
