George Robert "Bob" Johnson, Jr., Colonel, United States Army, Retired, 72 died on March 15, 2015 at CMC Pineville Hospital, Charlotte, N.C. George was born in Birmingham, AL. He was a member of a Special Forces Unit and a Vietnam Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his mother Clara P. Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Betty L. Johnson. Sons, Jeff ( Vicky), Erik (Ginger) and Leif (Rachel). Sister, Gene Goodwyn (John). Father, George R. Johnson. Grandson, Kyle. Granddaughters, Bella, Sydney and Riley. 2 Nieces and a Nephew.
He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
