LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Gayle Ribelin Glover, age 85, passed away on December 5, 2025 at MUSC-Lancaster. She was born October 6, 1940, in Lexington, NC, a daughter of the late Sidney T. Ribelin and the late Treva Lacy Koontz Ribelin and was the loving wife of Donald Ted Glover. She was a wonderfully creative woman with love for the simple joys in life. Lake Wateree was her peaceful place, and she treasured every moment spent by the water. She also enjoyed traveling to the mountains and could often be found working on puzzles, crosswords, or sudoku. A gifted pianist, she shared her talent with grace and warmth. In her quieter moments, she loved relaxing with her iPad, always finding something new to enjoy. Mrs. Glover was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, South Carolina, where her voice enriched the choir for many years.

Mrs. Glover is survived by her husband of 65 years; Ted Glover; her daughter, Donna Bowers (Dennis); her son, Philip Glover (Amy); her three grandchildren, Lacy Bowers (Elizabeth), Gabe Glover (Kaylen), and Kailee Wood (Taylor); her two great-grandchildren, Heidi and Andi Glover; her brother, Freddie Ribelin (Penny); and many special family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Treva Ribelin; and her brother, Tommy Ribelin.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Lancaster Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Marty Simmons. The family will receive friends following the service.
