LANCASTER, SC:::::::::: Mr. Gary Michael Stallings, age 72, died Thursday, January 22, 2015. He was born October 1, 1942 in Lancaster, SC, the son of the late William H. Stallings and Sarah Eubanks Stallings. Mr. Stallings was self- employed with Stallings New and Used Parts. He served our great country in the United States Army. He was an avid car racing fan, loved vintage cars and motorcycles.

Mr. Stallings is survived by two brothers, William J. Payne, Jr. and his wife Betty, and Keith Payne and his wife Debbie and a close friend and coworker, Chris Bailey.

Mr. Stallings was preceded in death by his step Dad William J. Payne Sr., 2 brothers, William Stallings (Billy) and Francis Payne.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Stallings will be 2:00 pm, Monday, January 26, 2015, at the Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. James Atkinson, with burial to follow at Haile Gold Mine Cemetery.

The Family of Mr. Stallings will receive friends from 1:00 -2:00 pm at the Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home. The family suggest memorials be made to Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 7980 Haile Gold Mine Road, Kershaw, SC 29067.
