INDIAN LAND, SC:::::::::: Garrett Russell Pope, Jr. age 11, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at his home. He was born June 27, 2005 in Galloway, NJ, a son of Garrett Russell Pope, Sr. and Stacy Lynn Dever Pope. Garrett was a student at Indian Land Middle School. He enjoyed football, soccer, riding bikes and most of all playing with his friends. Garrett loved his family.

Garrett is survived by his parents, Garrett, Sr. and Stacy Pope; his grandparents, Donald Pope and Susan Shaw of Holmdel, NJ; Charles and Karen Dever of Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother, Jackson Pope and a sister, Mollie Pope.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Garrett will be 6:00 pm, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Kyle McCain.

The Family will receive friends from 4:00 6:00 pm, prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
