LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Franklin "Danny" Rowell, age 74, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024. He was born September 7, 1950, a son of the late Billy A. Rowell and the late Lois Dawkins Rowell and was the loving husband of Kathryn "Kathy" E. Guns Rowell. Mr. Danny served in the United States Air Force and retired from Verizon after working for 30 years as an equipment installer. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially when he was mowing grass. Mr. Danny was a family man and loved being with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Danny is survived by wife of 53 years; Kathy Rowell; his daughter, Danielle Leigh Rowell Anderson (Craig); his son, Matthew Daniel Rowell (Nicole); two grandchildren, Savanna Nicole Rowell, and Landen Matthew Rowell; five siblings, Rachel Dapper (Dan), Arnold Darrell Rowell (Brenda), Nancy Catherine Rowell, Donald Thomas Rowell (Myra), and Paulette Doris Ann Pascalle (Drew); and many special family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Lois Rowell; and his sister, Susan Yvonne Rowell.

The family will hold a private memorial service honoring Mr. Danny's wish.
