LANCASTER, SC:::::::: Miss Frankie Jeanette Steele, age 95, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at her home. She was born July 27, 1919, the daughter of the late Allie Steele and Jerushia Plyler Steele. Miss Steele retired from Springs Industries and was a lifelong member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. She did beautiful needlepoint and embroidery and loved to work in her flowers when she was able.

Miss Steele is survived by a sister, Allie Steele of Lancaster, two special nephews, Clyde Steele and his wife Imogene and Carlyle Steele and his wife Jennifer all of Lancaster and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Miss Steele was preceded in death by three brothers, Curtis Steele, Odell Steele and Tom Steele and three sisters, Mary Jennings, Alice Barr and Iva Duncan.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Miss Steele will be 10:00 am, Friday, May 22, 2015 at Hopewell United Methodist Church by Rev. David Inman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center and suggest memorial contributions be made to Hopewell United Methodist Church, 3734 Heyward Hough Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Miss Steele will be 10:00 am, Friday, May 22, 2015 at Hopewell United Methodist Church by Rev. David Inman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center.
