LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Frankie McKeown Sistare, age 70, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at her home. She was born July 27, 1947 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Francis Jimbo McKeown and Mary Geddings McKeown and was the wife of John D. Sistare, Jr. Mrs. Frankie loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her son-in-law, Donnie, who she called her son. She was a very loving and giving person. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. Mrs. Frankie loved to hear her daughter Lisa sing and she loved her church family. She always told her children that Love is the most important thing.

Mrs. Frankie is survived by her husband, John D. Sistare, Jr.; three daughters, Lisa C. Waldrop and her husband, Donnie, Suzette Johnson and her husband, Kenneth, and Joan Yvette Sistare; three grandchildren, Kelsey L. Craig and her husband, Zac, Blythe Biviano and her husband, Tony, and Devin Long and her husband, David; four great grandchildren, Sydney Biviano, Carter Biviano, Righter Long and Ramsey Long; a sister, Sandra M. Gaskin and her husband, Donnie; a niece, Karen Gaskin; a nephew, Craig Gaskin; and two great nephews, Seth Kindle and Kaleb Kindle.

Mrs. Frankie was preceded in death by her parents.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Frankie will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Pleasant Dale Baptist Church by Rev. Jessie Adams and Rev. Don Waldrop. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park by Rev. Catlin Rollings.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm, Monday, December 11, 2017 at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Dale Baptist Church, Matching Grant Fund, 133 South Potter Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720.
