Jr.
February 12, 1943 – July 27, 2022
LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Frank E. Case Jr., age 79, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. He was born February 12, 1943, in Lancaster, SC, a son of the late Frank Case, Sr. and Elaine Gardner Case. He served in the United States Army and retired from Springs Industries. Mr. Case was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His love for family and friends were most important to him. Mr. Case visited Freedom Freewill Baptist Church. He loved going to church, drinking coffee, and going to the gym. At 70 years old, he could leg press 800 pounds and did 500 sit-ups every day. Mr. Case was always positive and never had a bad word to say about anybody. He was known as "Frank of Lancaster" and wanted to lead as many people as he could to Jesus. For over 25 years, he witnessed and taught inmates about Jesus at the Lancaster Detention Center.
Mr. Case is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Case: a son, Scott Case; a daughter, Jennifer Snipes; four grandchildren, Danielle Robinson (Matt), Nicole Lusk (Kenzie), Ryan, and Brooke; three great grandchildren, Zoey, Gavin, and Laci; a sister, Kitty Edwards (John); a cousin that was like a brother, Tommy Gardner (Tina); best friends, Gary McInville and Junior Gilmore; and a large extended family.
Mr. Case was preceded in death by his parents.
The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Case will be 3:00 pm Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mitch Ingram, Rev. Donald Tillman and Stevie Blackwell.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm, one hour prior to service, at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Freedom Freewill Baptist Church, 1697 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
