LIBERTY HILL, SC:::::::::: Mr. Frank Brown Hegler, age 81, of 2432 Hammond Road, died Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Kershaw Health Medical Center. He was born December 4, 1928, the son of the late James Edward Hegler and Ruby McManus Hegler and was the husband of Louise Scott Hegler. Mr. Hegler was former co-owner of Hegler's Motor Mart in Lancaster and former owner and operator of Beaver Creek Landing, a former Mason with Hart Lodge and a member of Thornhill Baptist Church in Kershaw. Mr. Hegler is survived by his wife, Louise Scott Hegler of Liberty Hill, 4 sons, Keith Hegler and his wife Debbie of Troutman, NC, Kenneth Hegler and his wife Nancy of York, SC, Rodney Hegler and his wife Mary and Tracy Hegler both of Liberty Hill, 2 brothers, Bill Hegler and Carl Hegler both of Atlanta, GA, 2 sisters, Betty Young of Summerville, SC and Fran Nelson of Miami, FL, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.Mr. Hegler was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Hegler, 3 brothers, Mack Hegler, Johnny Hegler and Jimmy "Whitey" Hegler and a sister, Barbara Hollander.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Hegler will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 16, 2010 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Glis Cribb with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mr. Hegler will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association, Rock Hill Chapter, 2115 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
