LANCASTER, SC:::::::Mrs. Frances Lucas Robinson, age 67, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at CMC Union. She was born in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Jack Lucas, Sr. and Mary Jeanette Lowery Lucas and was the wife of Ray Robinson. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Union Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, eating and helping others and especially loved playing with her "Tatey Bug" . Mrs. Robinson loved her family and made friends with everyone she met.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Ray Robinson, a son, Richard "Ricky" Bowers, Jr. and his wife Deanna, a daughter, Kimberly "Kim" Joines and her husband Mike, one grandchild, Tyler Lucas Joines and three step-grandchildren, Kirk, Ryan and Paige Callahan, a brother John David Lucas, three sisters, Susie Lucas, Sarah McManus and JoAnn Henson. Mrs. Robinson also had four nieces, Jordan, McKenzie, Devin and Lisa and five nephews, Elliot, Terry, Jerry, Mike and Eric.

Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by a brother, Jack "Monk" Lucas, Jr.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Robinson will be 2:00pm Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Union Baptist Church by Rev. J.D. Wilson with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, May 29, 2015 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster and suggest memorial contributions may be made to Union Baptist Church, 5003 Taxahaw Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720 or Midway Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 7760 Old Jefferson Hwy., Kershaw, SC 29067.
