LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mrs. Frances Ann Estridge Mullis, age 78, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born February 17, 1931 in Kershaw County, the daughter of the late Bishop A. Estridge and Callie Bowers Estridge and was the loving wife of Sherrill C. Mullis. Mrs. Mullis was a homemaker and a member of Wade Memorial Presbyterian Church.Mrs. Mullis is survived by her husband of 55 years, Sherrill C. Mullis of the home, a son, Sam Mullis of Lancaster, a daughter, Sherrie Mullis Bailey and her husband Tim of Lancaster, 2 brothers, Billy Estridge and his wife Ruby and Ferris Estridge and his wife Barbara also of Lancaster, a brother in law, Robert M. Plyler of Lancaster, 2 grandchildren, Thomas Bailey and Annabelle Hope Mullis, several nieces and nephews and many friends.Mrs. Mullis was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michaela Ann Mullis and a sister, Marjorie Plyler.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Mullis will be 2:00 pm, Friday afternoon, November 27, 2009 at Wade Memorial Presbyterian Church by Rev. Bill Sumner and Rev. Sam Thomas with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:30 pm Wednesday evening, November 25, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Wade Memorial Presbyterian Church, c/o James C.
