LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Frances Murphy Morrison, age 74, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at White Oak Manor. She was born September 16, 1941 in Fort Mill, a daughter of Vivian Neal Murphy and the late Roy Murphy and was the wife of William Edward Morrison, Jr. Mrs. Morrison retired from Lance, Inc. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by her husband, William Edward Morrison, Jr.; her mother, Vivian Neal Murphy; a son, William Edward Morrison III of Greenville, SC; a daughter, Lucinda Marie Butler and her husband, Drew of Kocomo, IN; a brother, David Murphy and his wife, Darlene of Fort Mill; two sisters, Wanda Fortson and her husband, Mitchell of Fort Mill and Phyllis Deese of Clarksville, OH; and three grandchildren, Ainsley, Bryce and Taylor Butler.

Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Murphy.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mrs. Morrison will be 11:00 am, Friday, March 25, 2016 at Lancaster Memorial Park by Rev. Trent McLaughlin.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm, Thursday evening, March 24, 2016 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Oh Yes He Can, Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund, 3052 Taxahaw Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
