LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Frances Starnes McManus, age 75, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at her home. She was born February 7, 1939 in Kershaw, SC, the daughter of the late Robert Wyatt Starnes and Omie Lee Robinson Starnes. Mrs. McManus was the retired owner and operator of Peppermint Lady Cleaning Company and attended Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. McManus is survived by two sons, Jeffrey McManus and his wife Missy of Lexington and Eddie McManus and his wife Deborah of Lancaster, a daughter, Jodi Watkins and her husband Wayne of Heath Springs, 2 sisters, Betty Starnes of Lancaster and Barbara Lee Snipes and her husband Charles of Lancaster, 4 grandchildren, Nicholas and Jeremy McManus, Alexandra and Jeffrey Patrick McManus, Jr.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mrs. McManus will be 11:30 am Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Lancaster Memorial Park by Rev. Larry Plyler.

The Family will receive friends from 10:30 - 11:00 Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC and the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Easter Seals Family Supports and Training, PO Box 66, Moore, SC 29369.
