LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Frances Bernice Wright Knight, age 85, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at home. She was born October 4, 1932, a daughter of the late William D. Wright and Ada Montgomery Wright. She was the wife of the late Rufus Jr. Knight, Jr. Mrs. Knight enjoyed being in her yard and working in her flowers. She loved the beach and playing Putt-Putt. Mrs. Knight dearly loved her family. She was an active and devoted member of Zion United Methodist Church and loved her church family.

Mrs. Knight is survived by her two daughters, Gail Knight Adams and her fianc, Clinton Watts and Patricia Pat Knight Snipes and her husband, Bill; six grandchildren, Dennis Adams and his companion, Pam, Crystal Vincent and her husband, Tim, Billy Snipes and his wife, Wendy, Casey Burgess and her husband, Michael, Amanda K. Price and her husband, Brian and Samantha Knight and her companion, Jarrod; nine precious great grandchildren; a very close niece, Faye Murphy; and several special nieces.

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rufus Jr. Knight, Jr., her son, Roger A. Knight; three brothers, William W. Wright, John W. Dub Wright, and George D. Wright; and two sisters, Mary Wright Kelly and Dora Wright McAteer.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Knight will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Mike Burgess. Burial will follow at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 3:00 pm at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorials be sent to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, Attn: Memorial Dept., 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
