LANCASTER, SC:::::::Mrs. Frances Nell Steele Hinson, age 93, died Thursday, August 4, 2016 at White Oak Manor. She was born March 16, 1923 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Samuel Amos Steele and Cora Lee Roberts Steele and was the wife of the late James Eulece Hinson. Mrs. Hinson retired from the Lancaster Telephone Company and was a member of Glenwood Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hinson is survived by a son, Jimmy E. Hinson and his wife, Gail of Lancaster, four grandchildren, Laura Cox (Mitchell), Amy Berbrich (Jim), Julie Cox (Shawn) and Sherry Hinson; and four great grandchildren, Ashley Hopkins, Rachel Payne, Chrystian Cox and Matthew Cox.

Mrs. Hinson was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Steele and Jack Steele and three sisters, Margaret Hegler, Aileen Buzzard and Alfreida Pardue and a great granddaughter, Olivia Brooke Hopkins.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hinson will be 2:00 pm, Monday, August 8, 2016 at Glenwood Heights Baptist Church by Rev. Joseph Reed. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 2:00 pm, at the church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Glenwood Heights Baptist Church, 600 Nichols Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
