LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Frances Robertson Gleaton, age 88, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at her home. She was born September 3, 1924 in Heath Springs, SC, the daughter of the late Arthur Pumroy Robertson and Viola Bowers Robertson and was the wife of the late Cecil Lamar Gleaton, Sr. Mrs. Gleaton retired from Springs Industries and was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she also taught Sunday School for many years.

Mrs. Gleaton is survived by 3 sons, Cecil Gleaton, Jr. and his wife Myra, Jeffery Gleaton and his wife Dawn and Dennis Gleaton and his wife Brenda all of Lancaster, 3 daughters, Sandra Catoe and her husband Carol of Kershaw, Wanda Armstrong and her husband Keith of Lancaster, and Karon Luddy and her husband Tom of Charlotte, 19 grandchildren,9 great grandchildren and her dear friend and companion, James M. McCully.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Gleaton will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Immanuel Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Anderson. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mrs. Gleaton will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorials be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1152 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster SC 29270.
