ROCK HILL, SC ~ Mrs. Frances Holroyd Brunson, age 89, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022.  She was born February 27, 1933, in Greensboro, NC, a daughter of the late George Paul Holroyd and Pauline Hall Holroyd and was the wife of the late William Blackmon Brunson, Sr. Mrs. Brunson was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and previously worked at Smith Enterprises where she made baskets for children. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mrs. Brunson was a member of Neely's Creek A.R.P. Church.

Mrs. Brunson is survived by her son, William "Bill" Blackmon Brunson, Jr.; a granddaughter, Anne Sellers and her husband, Del; two great grandchildren, Khaki Sellers and William Sellers; her sister, Barbara Holroyd Adams; and her niece, Christi Farmer.

Mrs. Brunson was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Nancy Elaine Brunson; her parents; and a brother, George Paul Holroyd, Jr.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mrs. Brunson will be 2:00 pm Monday, May 9, 2022, at Neely's Creek A.R.P. Church Cemetery officiated by Dr. Elisa Ashley. Visitation will follow.
