LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Frances Preslar Blalock, age 83, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born July 26, 1934 in Marshville, NC, a daughter of the late Leroy Clyde Preslar and Junnie Frances Carpenter Presler. Mrs. Blalock was a member of the Springs Senior Citizens Club and First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Blalock is survived by a daughter, Wanda Kay Blalock; a son, Aaron Blalock both of Lancaster; a brother, Graham Preslar and his wife, Judy of Marshville, NC; one granddaughter, Crystal Ard and her husband, Rev. Kevin Ard; and two great grandchildren, Josiah and Matthias Ard of Orangeburg, SC.

Mrs. Blalock was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Jack Blalock; seven brothers, Leroy Preslar, William Preslar, Alfred Preslar, Benjamin Preslar, Clarence Preslar, Grady Preslar and Butler Preslar; and four sisters, Nellie P. Yount, Blanche P. Trull, Josephine P. Taylor and Elizabeth P. Hayes.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Blalock will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum by Rev. Kevin Ard. The family will greet friends following the service.
