HEATH SPRINGS, SC ~ Mr. Floyd Lee Rollings, age 79, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, November 20, 2022. He was born August 1, 1943, in Lancaster, a son of the late James Lewis Rollings and Dora McAteer Rollings and was the husband of Ronnie Tackett Rollings. Mr. Rollings proudly served his country 30 years in the United States Coast Guard. He loved to travel and was able to visit all 50 states in the U.S. While living in Alaska, fishing was his passion. Mr. Rollings was a hard worker who could repair and work on anything. He was a caring, kind, and loving person who would help anyone and was a very active member of his community. Family was most important to him, and he was a devoted loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Rollings was a very active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Rollings is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ronnie Rollings; his children, Dell Clark (Paul), Terri Wilson, Alan Rollings (Melanie), and Bradley Rollings (Chasity); eight grandchildren, Devin Damitio, Jordan Allgier (Reagan), Austin Damitio, Skylar Damitio, Cody Rollings, Peyton Rollings, Brylie Rollings, and Greyson Rollings; a honorary grandchild, Logan Brown; a great grandchild, Hudson Allgier; a sister, Irene Arant (Charles); a sister-in-law, Sarah Rollings; a large extended family; and many friends.

Mr. Rollings was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James Rollins (Sara), Charles Rollings (Betty), and Wesley Rollings; a sister, Idell Hunter (Bruce).

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Rollings will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 25, 2022, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Buddy Thomas. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, in the church choir room.
