FORT MILL, SC:::::::::::: Mrs. Florence Ashby Lion, age 92, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at her home. She was born June 14, 1919 in Fauquier County, VA, the daughter of the late Turner Jackson Ashby and Iris Myrl Lawler Ashby and was the wife of the late Jack Lundie Lion. Mrs. Lion was a homemaker and a member of Manassas Baptist Church in VA. Mrs. Lion was survived by daughter-in-laws, Mary Suggs of Fort Mill, Shirley Jewell, Diane Fries, and Sara Jacobs, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Lion was preceded in death by 3 sons, Henry Jackson Jewell, Martin Russell Jewell, and David Penfield Jewell. Services for Mrs. Lion will be in Manassas, VA.
