LANCASTER, SC :::::::::::Mrs. Faye Dean Thomas Knight, age 64, died March 5, 2013 at her home. She was born March 4, 1949 in Lancaster County, the daughter of Ethel Virginia Thomas Barrett and the late James Daniel Thomas and was the wife of the late Edgar Lawrence Knight. Mrs. Knight was a homemaker, loved bass fishing and attended Victory Worship Center.
Mrs. Knight is survived by her mother, Ethel Virginia Thomas Barrett and her husband Walker of Lancaster, 2 sons, John James Hill and his wife Carla and Jimmy Wayne Hill and his wife Sophie both of Lancaster, 2 daughters, Deborah Faye Medlin and her husband Jimmy of Monroe, and Teresa Hill Barton and her husband Brian of Lancaster, a step-daughter, Dana Knight Simon of AL, 3 brothers, Benjamin Thomas of Heath Springs, James Thomas and Roger Thomas both of Lancaster, 4 sisters, Becky Steen of Heath Springs, Sara Walden of Lancaster and her triplet sisters, Nay Dean Revels and Maude Dean Gainey both of Lancaster, 12 grandchildren, Brittany and Johnathan Hill, Jennifer, Jimmy Jr. and Ashlyn Hill, Jimmy Ray Medlin, Kimberly Faye Medlin, Jessica Hinson, Michael Wayne Davis, Derek Davis, Shelby and Leslie English, and 3 great grandchildren, Delaney Hinson, Landon Davis and Brantley Briggs.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Knight will be 3:00 pm Friday, March 8, 2013 at Zion United Methodist Church by Rev. Jim Elder, Rev. Eddie Usher and Rev. Brian Barton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Family of Mrs. Knight will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Family Life Center and suggests memorials be made to Victory Worship Center, PO Box 943, Lancaster, SC 29721.
