LANCASTER, SC::::::: Mrs. Faye Helms Stogner, age 63, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at her home. She was born September 6, 1951 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Joe Helms and Ollie Stevenson Helms and was the wife of John Maxwell "Max" Stogner. Mrs. Stogner formerly worked at Joslyn Clark Control and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Stogner is survived by her husband, John Maxwell "Max" Stogner; a son, Bryan Stogner; a daughter, Angie Stogner both of Lancaster; a brother, Ray Helms and his wife Gail; two sisters, Kathy Snipes and Linda Kay Woods and her husband Junior all of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Chase, Devin, Justin and Dylan Stogner and two great grandchildren, Astrid Nelson and Jaden Stogner.
Mrs. Stogner was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Helms and Eddie Helms.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Stogner will be 4:00 pm Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Bethlehem Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Myers and Rev. Mike Carter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday evening, January 30, 2015 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster and suggest memorial contributions be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Building Fund, 1841 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
