LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Edith "Evelyn" Rogers Eudy, age 90, passed away at Jesse Helms Nursing Center on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. She was born March 25, 1929 in Union County, NC, a daughter of the late Carl Daniel Rogers and Mary Lucy James Rogers.  She was the wife of the late Robert "Earl" Eudy.  Mrs. Eudy was the youngest of seven children and the last remaining member of the Rogers' family.  She loved ceramics and porcelain dolls.  Mrs. Eudy had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her garden.  She loved animals and children.  After retiring from Springs Industries as a Weaver, she drove a school bus for the Buford and Andrew Jackson schools.  Mrs. Eudy was a member of High Point Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was a member of the choir.

Mrs. Eudy is survived by her children, Robert "Larry" Eudy (Donna) of Kershaw, SC, Edith "Delaine" Polk (Larry) of Monroe, NC, William "Lloyd" Eudy, and Carl "Douglas" Eudy (Debra) both of Lancaster, a daughter-in-law, Martha "Lynn" Eudy of Kershaw, SC; thirteen grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Eudy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Earl Eudy; two sons, Steven Eudy and Benjamin "Ben" Adam Eudy; a daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Ann Eudy; a grandchild, Carl Daniel Eudy; a great grandchild, Garrett Aldridge; and her parents.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Eudy will be 3:00 pm Sunday, January 19, 2020 at High Point Baptist Church officiated by Rev. William Belk and Rev. Dale Walters.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, in the church fellowship hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to High Point Baptist Church, 1888 Rocky River Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720.
