LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Evelyn Rollins Boling, 88, widow of James Jim Boling, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her home. She was born August 1, 1929 in Union County, NC, a daughter of the late John Wesley Rollins and Maybell Griffin Rollins.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Boling will be held Friday at 3:00 pm, May 11, 2018 at Lancaster Memorial Park. Reverend Ronnie Boling will be officiating with a graveside service. Visitation will be at Mrs. Bolings home before and after the graveside service.

Mrs. Boling is survived by three sons, Ronnie (Pam) Boling of Greenwood, SC, Bobby (Ellen) Boling of Lynchburg, VA, Johnny (Pam) Boling of Lancaster, SC; three daughters, Judy (David, Sr.) Wallace, Karen (Ron) Robinson and Marian (Donnie) Wright all of Lancaster; 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; two brothers, John W. Rollins, Jr. of Leesville, FL and Andy (Evelyn) Rollins of Lancaster, and a sister, Lillie Weir of Charlotte, NC.

Mrs. Boling was preceded in death by one son, Danny Ray Boling; three grandchildren, Bo Bo Wright, Chad Wright and Cathy Boling; and two sisters, Hattie Crump and Dorothy Robinson.

Mrs. Boling was a homemaker and retired from Springs Memorial Hospital as a CNA in April 2006. She was recognized as Employee of the Quarter in 2002. During her 27 years at Springs Memorial Hospital, Mrs. Boling touched the lives of her coworkers and many Moms and babies. She enjoyed doing crafts, gardening and working with her flowers. She loved her children and grandchildren very deeply.
