FORT MILL, SC ~ Mrs. Evelyn Ethel Zamanski Bogda, age 90, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Novant Health Main. She was born January 7, 1931 in McKees Rocks, PA, the daughter of the late Frank Zamanski and Anna Mihal Zamanski and was the wife of the late Robert Stanley Bogda.  Mrs. Bogda enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and cooking.  She did a lot of cooking for church and also helped weekly at the homeless shelter in Lancaster.  Mrs. Bogda participated as a skater in the Ice Capades.  She loved singing with her friends at Sun City in the Singing for Pleasure group.  Mrs. Bogda was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church where she also loved singing in the choir.

Mrs. Bogda is survived by her daughter, Sharon Mychalishyn and son-in-law, Mike; two grandchildren, Kelly Mychalishyn and Kim Brtalik and her husband, Brian; and six great grandchildren, Karli Brtalik, Hailey Brtalik, Madison Brtalik, Macie Brtalik, Brynn Schaivi, and Josh Schaivi.

Mrs. Bogda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bogda; her parents; and two brothers Pete Zamanski and Raymond Zamanski.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Bogda will be 12:00 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church officiated by Father Jeffrey Kirby.
