LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mrs. Eugenia "Jean" Sistare Waldrop, age 89, died December 10, 2012 at her home. She was born June 5, 1923 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Joseph Dewey Sistare and Mazie Threatt Sistare and was the wife of the late Garvin Eugene Waldrop. Mrs. Waldrop was a homemaker, a member of the Green Garden Club, and a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Waldrop is survived by a daughter, Claudia Waldrop Royals of Apex, NC, a son, Christopher Eugene Waldrop of Lancaster, 2 brothers, Joe Sistare of Pendleton, SC, and Bill Sistare of Jacksonville, FL, and 2 grandchildren, Whitney Gene Royals and Sully Eugene Waldrop.

Mrs. Waldrop was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Snowden.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Waldrop will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Christ Episcopal Church by Rev. Gordon Hamilton. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mrs. Waldrop will receive friends at the home and in lieu of flowers suggest memorial contributions be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 534 Plantation Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
