LANCASTER, SC.........Mr. Ernest Lee Morgan, Jr., age 58, went to meet his Lord and Savior Saturday, December 12, 2015. He was born December 17, 1956 in Rock Hill, a son of the late Ernest Lee Morgan, Sr. and Nancy Dunlap Morgan and was the husband of Michelle Sanders Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a carpenter working in the construction business for many years. He loved Nascar racing, music, playing the guitar, and reading his Bible. He loved all people and was a member of Grace Freewill Baptist Church.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife, Michelle Sanders Morgan, three sons, Ernest Lee Morgan III and his wife, Misty, Jason Morgan and his wife, Carla both of Lancaster and Joshua Sanders of Rock Hill; a daughter, Jessica Morgan Lammonds and her husband, Charles of Bessemer City, NC; one brother, Henry Dennis Morgan of Lancaster; three sisters, Deborah Edwards and her husband, Randy of Lancaster, Nada Hunt and her husband, Randy of Marshville, NC and Barbara Morgan and her husband Robert Niggles of Lancaster; a sister in law, Julie Morgan of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren, Jason Corey Morgan, Joshua Lee Morgan, Graclynn Morgan, Austin Burch, Trent Berry, Makynna Small, Michael Morgan, Allen Lammonds, Nicole Lammonds and Emily Lammonds; and many nieces, nephews and one great niece.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Darrell G. Morgan.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Morgan will be 12:00 pm, Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Grace Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Roger Anders.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 - 12:00 pm, Wednesday at the church and suggest in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Grace Freewill Baptist Church, 1616 Alpha Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
