LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Ernest Marvin Fowler, age 67, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 10, 2014. He was born October 26, 1946 in Waxhaw, NC, the son of the late Marvin Gill Fowler and Majalene Starnes Fowler and was the husband of Deborah Brown Fowler. Mr. Fowler retired from Springs Industries and attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Mr. Fowler is survived by his wife, Deborah Brown Fowler, two daughters, Angela Fowler Edwards and her husband Mike of North Myrtle Beach and Shanna Fowler Horton and her husband Randy of Lancaster, four sisters, JoAnne Fowler Smith, Marlene Fowler Stacks and her husband Mickey and Judy Fowler Hudson and her husband Bill all of Lancaster and Cathy Fowler Broadwell and her husband T.J. of Fort Mill, four grandchildren, Jonathan Fowler and his wife Amanda, Laura Edwards Patterson and her husband Derek, Erin Edwards Waller and her husband Jackson, and Justin and Jarod Horton, five great grandchildren, Lily Grace Patterson, Saylor Brooke Patterson, Elliot Quinn Patterson, Jordan Destiny Fowler and Ariel Dennise Fowler.

Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Gill Fowler.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Fowler will be 3:00 pm Saturday, September 13, 2014 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Jerald Starnes. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mr. Fowler will receive friends one hour before the service, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm in the church sanctuary and suggest memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4124 Clemson Boulevard, Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621.
