INDIAN LAND, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Ency Jane Chaffee Dau, age 79, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center- Charlotte. She was born October 28, 1936 in Huntington Long Island, NY, a daughter of the late James Chaffee and Isabel Fanning Chaffee and the wife of Edward J. Dever. Mrs. Dau was a member of the DAR, Daughters of the American Revolutionary War. She loved aerobic swimming and quilting. Mrs. Dau was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Huntington Station, NY.

Mrs. Dau is survived by her husband, Edward Dever and a daughter, Aimee Schmitt and her husband Randolph of Long Island, NY.

Mrs. Dau is preceded in death by a brother, James Jim Chaffee.

The Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Gloria Dei Evangelical Lutheran Church by Pastor Joel Brandt located at 22 East 18th Street, Huntington Station, New York 11746.
