LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Elyse Rebecca Hardin, age 15, of 272 Arrowood Avenue, died Tuesday evening, December 29, 2009. She was born July 19, 1994 in Charlotte, NC, the daughter of Chuck Hardin and Susan Rutledge Hardin. Elyse was a sophomore at Lancaster High School, a member of Amitie Cotillion and Grace United Methodist Church. Elyse is survived by her parents, Chuck and Susan Hardin of the home, a sister, Ashlyn Hardin of the home, maternal grandparents, Bob and Elizabeth Rutledge of Lancaster, paternal grandmother, Virginia Hardin of Lancaster, 2 Aunts, Becky Fulmer and her husband Don of Chapin and Ginger Jenkins of Lancaster, 2 Uncles, Buddy Rutledge and his wife Pat and Robin Rutledge and his wife Nancy both of Lancaster, several cousins and many, many friends.Elyse was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Charles M. Hardin. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Elyse will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Grace United Methodist Church by Rev. Kathy Hudson with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Elyse will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 pm Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Grace United Methodist Church Building Fund, PO Box 418, Lancaster, SC 29721.
