ASH, NC ~ Mrs. Eloise Faulkenberry Williams, age 90, of Ash, NC, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024. She was born November 17, 1933, in Lancaster, SC, daughter of the late Prince E. Faulkenberry and the late Permelia Faile Faulkenberry and was the loving wife of the late George Heyward Williams. In her career, Mrs. Williams worked for Springs Industries for over 47 years serving as a customer service representative. She loved sending cards to her family and friends on holidays and special occasions. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially cakes. Mrs. Williams was a member of Van Wyck Presbyterian Church. She was very passionate about Bible studies and loved teaching and attending when she was able.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her son, Eric Williams (Regina) of Sunset Beach, NC; two grandchildren, Whitney Lopez (Josh) of Wilmington, NC, and Ashley White (Justin) of Shallotte, NC; three great-grandchildren, Marcela and Evelyn Lopez and Aubrey White; her sister-in-law, Janie Faulkenberry; and her brother-in-law, Tom Williams (Velma).

She was preceded in death by, her husband of 67 years, George Williams; her parents, Prince and Permelia Faulkenberry; and her brother, Howard Faulkenberry.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Williams will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Van Wyck Presbyterian Church officiated by Rev. Carson Montgomery and Dr. Joey McNeill. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Van Wyck Presbyterian Church, 5140 Old Hickory Rd, Van Wyck, SC 29744.
