INDIAN LAND, SC ::::::::::Mr. Edward "Ed" W. Jamieson, age 58, of 165 Laurel Hill Road, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at his home. He was born October 12, 1950 in Rock Hill, SC, the son of William Miller Jamieson and Louise McCarter Jamieson and was the husband of Jeannie Harris Jamieson. Mr. Jamieson was a self employed woodworker, was a Mason with Indian Land Lodge #414 and a member of Van Wyck Presbyterian Church. Mr. Jamieson was survived his wife, Jeannie Harris Jamieson of the home, his parents, William and Louise Jamieson of Rock Hill, 3 sons, Scott Jamieson and his wife Jamison of Indian Land, Daniel Jamieson and Ben Jamieson both of the home, a brother, Jeff Jamieson of Liberty Hill, a sister Louann Currence of York, and 2 grandchildren, Shelby and Cole Jamieson.The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Jamieson will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Van Wyck Presbyterian Church by Rev. Randy McSpadden. The Family of Mr. Jamieson will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers suggests memorial contributions be made to Van Wyck Presbyterian Church, PO Box 68, Van Wyck, SC 29744 or Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
