LANCASTER, SC::::::::: Edward Paul "Little Gene" Jenkins, age 30, died Friday, December 5, 2008 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born November 4, 1978 in Lancaster, the son of Edward Eugene Jenkins and Dianne Terry Cole and was the husband of Kriss Armstrong Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was a machinist with FN Manufacturing in Columbia, SC and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Jenkins is survived by wife Kriss Armstrong Jenkins and daughter Angel Ellis of the home, his mother, Dianne Terry Cole and stepfather Butch Cole of Lancaster, his father, Edward Eugene Jenkins and stepmother Sandra Jenkins of Lancaster, 2 sisters, Lorrie Jenkins of Lancaster and Melissa Dove and her husband Chris of Lake Norman and his maternal grandmother, Louise Terry of Lancaster.Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Terry and his paternal grandparents, Harland and Rosa Lee Jenkins. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Jenkins will be 3:00pm Monday afternoon December 8, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Michael Sollers and Rev. Wayne Dickson with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Family of Mr. Jenkins will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Sunday evening, December 7, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home and at the home of his mother Dianne Terry Cole, 1606 Oakwood Avenue, Lancaster.
