LANCASTER, SC::::::::: Mr. Edward Floyd Hall, age 72, died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. He was born August 16, 1943 in Bridgeport, TN., the son of the late Theodore Hall and Sue Addie Turner Hall and was the husband of Lorraine Threatt Hall. Mr. Hall retired from Springs Industries. He enjoyed working on cars and singing Karaoke. He also loved fishing and gardening. Mr. Hall attended Bethel United Methodist Church and Liberty Freewill Baptist Church.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Lorraine Threatt Hall; two sons, David R. Cauthen, Jr. and Rodney David Cauthen; four daughters, Cindy C. Rubio, Terry C. Whitley, both of Lancaster, Carolyn Hall Coleman of High Point, NC and Angel Hall Hough and her husband Shawn of Richburg, SC; three brothers, Marshall Hall, Eddie Hall and David Hall; four sisters, Lula Belle Williams, Della Millet, Stella Sims and Brenda Wilson; fifteen grandchildren, Jamie and Lisa Hanna, Amanda Mosley, Melissa Hancock, Amber Cauthen Steen, Rodney, Nicholas and Alexandria Cauthen, Chase, Mikaela and Chandler Coleman, Donte DeJesus, Elijah, Frankie and Ezra Hough; and eight great grandchildren.

Mr. Hall was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Roger Hall, and a grandson, Edward Mosley.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Hall will be 11:00 am Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Bethel United Methodist Church by Rev. Ricki Phipps, Rev. Glenn Ribelin, and Rev. Della Sparks. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm Monday, March 7, 2016 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC and suggest memorial contributions be made Bethel United Methodist Church, 4146 Shiloh Unity Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
