FORT MILL, SC ~ Mr. Edward Joseph Dever, Jr., age 79, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his home.  He was born September 3, 1942 in Queens, NY, a son of the late Edward J Dever, Sr. and Alyse Bennett.    He enjoyed golfing, bocce, and poker with his neighbors.

Mr. Dever is survived by two daughters, Aimee Schmitt and her husband, Randolph, and Linda Eaton; two sons, Michael Dever and Edward Dever III; special friend, Connie Jenkins; and many friends near and far.

Mr. Dever was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, the love of his life, Ency Chaffee Dau Dever; and his parents.
