HEATH SPRINGS, SC ~ Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Funderburk Lisenby, age 85, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Heath Springs Residential Center.  She was born November 10,1934 to the late Yancey Funderburk and Lula Sinclair Funderburk and was married to the late Otis Lisenby.  Mrs. Lisenby worked for Springs Industries at the Customer Service Center for over 30 years.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, reading and writing poetry.  Mrs. Lisenby was a member of White Springs Baptist Church and worked in the nursery for many years during this time.

Mrs. Lisenby is survived by her two daughters, Angela Kay Lisenby and Susan Balchin; and four grandchildren, Coby Custer, Kayla Custer, Mackenzie Balchin, and Chloe Balchin.

Mrs. Lisenby was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Lisenby; her parents; and a brother, Ira Funderburk.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Lisenby will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 2, 2020 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Mike Hammond.  Inurnment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
