LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Earl T. Connor, age 87, died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at his home. He was born May 28, 1926 in Rock Hill, the son of the late L.N. Connor and Bessie Ramsey Connor and was the husband of 62 years to the late Mary Cox Connor. Mr. Connor retired from Spring Industries and a marine business and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Connor was also a member of the Lions Club for over 30 years and Second Baptist Church.

Mr. Connor is survived by his children, Doug Connor and his wife Karen (predeceased), Joe Connor (predeceased) and his wife Elaine, and Mark Connor and his wife Jewel, 3 grandchildren, Jennifer, Anna and Ben, 2 brothers, Don Connor, and Ted Connor and his wife Jill, a sister, Faye Cook and her husband Bob, and brother-in-law Clifton Spears.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Connor will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at The Chapel of Hartley Burgess Funeral Home. A Graveside Funeral Service will follow at 3:30 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville, SC.

The Family of Mr. Connor will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, June 10, 2013 at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home and suggests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association, 901 S. Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302 or White Oak Manor, 253 Craig Manor Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
