LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Douglas Alan Coe, age 63, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born September 28, 1954 in Sandusky, OH the son of Amelia Mancinotti Coe and the late Donald Coe. Mr. Coe was the husband of Shelley Whittaker Coe. He was an avid reader, loved mountain biking, and woodworking. Mr. Coe enjoyed traveling and has been all over the world for business. He loved and cherished his family. Mr. Coe was a member at Saint Margarets Episcopal Church.

Mr. Coe is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shelley; three daughters, Michelle Girdler and her husband, Benjamin of Colorado, Alexandra Coe of Matthews, NC and Mackenzie Coe of Boone, NC; two grandchildren, Grant and Elise Girdler; his mother, Amelia Coe; and a sister, Debra Robertson of Fremont, OH.

Mr. Coe was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Dennis Coe.

The Celebration of Life memorial service will be 11:00 am Friday, February 16, 2018 at Saint Margarets Episcopal Church, 8518 Rea Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173.
