Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Robinson Estridge, age 85, died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Fairfield Healthcare Center. She was born December 30, 1922 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Otis Robinson and Viola Nicholson Robinson and was the wife of the late John Estridge. Mrs. Estridge retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Springdell Baptist Church.Mrs. Estridge is survived by two grandchildren, Lori Estridge of Lancaster and Leah Pena and her husband Reynolds of Charlotte, NC.Mrs. Estridge was preceded in death by a son and daughter in law, Jerry Estridge and his wife Mary Mills Estridge, 2 brothers, Odell Robinson and Willis "Peanut" Robinson, and 2 sisters, Josephine Robinson and Maxine Robinson Cooper.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Estridge will be 3:00 pm Wednesday afternoon, July 16, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Estridge will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Tuesday evening, July 15, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Springdell Baptist Church, 1420 Springdell Church Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
