LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Donnie Lee Sanders, age 72, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at his home. He was born May 30, 1952, in Lancaster, SC, a son of the late George Sanders and the late Lula Maude Adams Sanders. Donnie proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired after 25 years as Chief Warrant Officer with the army military. He loved the beach, football, basketball, and music.

Donnie is survived by his brother, Bert Sanders (Pearleane); his sister, Linda Sanders; sister-in-law, Myra Sanders; nephews, Tommy Sanders (Wendy), Rick Sanders (Denise), Jim Sanders (Crystal), Jeff Sanders, Tyler Sanders, and David Ghent (Casey); and nieces, Earline Bowers (Brent) and Cathie Catoe (Guy).

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Maude Sanders; brothers, James L. Sanders, Sr. and Timothy Sanders; and sister-in-law, Becky Sanders.

The Celebration of Life Service for Donnie will be held privately at a later date.
