FORT LAWN, SC:::::::::: Mr. Donnie Joe Price, age 59, of 5655 Hillsdale Street, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Birmingham, AL. He was born October 24, 1951 in Chester County, the son of the late Nathan Price and Jessie Mae Helms Price and was the husband of Nancy Funderburk Price. Mr. Price was the owner of D & N Motorcycle Shop and a Truck Driver for Swift Trucking. Mr. Price was a member of Second Baptist Church in Great Falls and served our great country in the United States Navy. Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Nancy F. Price of the home, 2 daughters, Angie P. Bowers and husband Gregg of Fort Lawn and Sherry P. Gainey and her husband Jody of Fort Lawn, a brother, Kenneth Price of Lancaster, 4 grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Bowers and Amber and Katelyn Gainey.Mr. Price was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Lawson.Mr. Price's wishes were to be cremated and the family will host a Memorial Service at 12:00 noon Friday, April 8, 2011 at Second Baptist Church in Great Falls by Rev. Michael Price and Rev. Zachery Williams. The Family of Mr. Price will receive friends at the home.
