WAXHAW, NC ::::::::::: Mrs. Donna Knight Hegler, age 62, died Friday, May 25, 2012 CMC - Union. She was born October 12, 1949 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Quillan "Pete" Knight and Edna Threatt Knight and was the wife of the late Wade H. Hegler, Jr. Mrs. Hegler was an accountant and of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Hegler is survived by 2 step sons, Dale W. Hegler and his wife Denise of Rock Hill, and Damon L. Hegler of Lancaster, 3 brothers, Bobby Morrow and his wife Frances of Chester, Wayne "Hoss" Knight and his wife Shenell of Lancaster, and William "Bill" Knight and his wife Robbie of Heath Springs, 2 sisters, Phyllis Plyler and her husband Rick of Lancaster, and Susan Hasty and her husband Chris of Waxhaw, 2 step grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hegler was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lynn Morrow. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hegler will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
