LANCASTER, SC :::: Mr. Donald Evans Love, age 93, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014. He was born June 13, 1921 in Lancaster, the son of the late Richard Lee Love and Rosa Taylor Love and was the husband of Christine Hunter Love. Mr. Love retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Fork Hill Baptist Church and served our great country in the United States Army during World War II.

Mr. Love is survived by his wife, Christine Hunter Love, three daughters, Teresa Love Couch and her husband Randall, Kathy Love Blackmon and Gail Love Gillis and her husband Carlton all of Lancaster, four grandchildren, Dana Garris and her husband David, Brian Blackmon and his wife Laurie, Brad Blackmon and his wife Charlene, and Chrissy Lou Best and her fiancé Lowen and six great grandchildren, Dillon Garris, Aubrie Blackmon, Talen Blackmon, Zaine Blackmon, Karsyn Blackmon and Kaley Taylor.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Love will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Fork Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Kenny Pittman and Rev. Paul Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Family of Mr. Love will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm in the church fellowship hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to Home Care and Hospice of Lancaster, 901 W. Meeting Street, Suite 201, Lancaster, SC 29720 or Fork Hill Baptist Church, 1125 Fork Hill Road, Heath Springs, SC 29058
