LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Donald Lee Faulkenberry, age 74, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born March 1, 1939 in Lancaster, the son of the late James David Faulkenberry and Mable Blackmon Faulkenberry. Mr. Faulkenberry retired from General Tire, previously coached Dixie Youth Baseball, was a member of Lynwood United Methodist Church and a former member of the Lancaster Moose Lodge.

Mr. Faulkenberry is survived by two sons, Donnie DeWayne Faulkenberry and Lynn Faulkenberry and his wife Lori both of Lancaster, two grandchildren that he raised, Richard Neal Faulkenberry and Donald Garrett Faulkenberry of the home, two brothers, Herman Faulkenberry and his wife Barbara and Julian Faulkenberry and his wife Faye, three sisters, Shirley Hall and her husband Willard, Norma Jean Faulkenberry and Gilda Atkinson and her husband Donnie all of Lancaster.

Mr. Faulkenberry was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Faulkenberry.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Faulkenberry will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Lynwood United Methodist Church by Rev. Betty Kay Hudson. Burial will follow at Fork Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Family of Mr. Faulkenberry will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday evening, May 7, 2013 at Hartley-Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorials be made to Lynwood United Methodist Church, 2138 Lynwood Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720.
