LANCASTER, SC – Donald Thomas "JR" Creek, Jr., formerly of Newark, Delaware, went home to the Lord on April 1, 2025, in his new home state of South Carolina. Born August 20, 1964, in Cumberland, Maryland, Donald lived a life marked by deep faith, enduring love for family, and a passion for sports and music.

Donald shared nearly four decades of marriage with his beloved wife Caroline. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Their bond was strengthened through countless travels and cherished moments spent exploring the world alongside Donald's brother Steve and sister-in-love Tracy.

A devoted Dad, Donald took immense pride in his children—Christie, Andrew, and Daniel—who brought joy and meaning to his life. He was also a loving son to his mother Elaine and held close the memory of his father, Donald T. Creek Sr. Donald's family circle extended to his brothers Steve (Tracy), Brian (Dee), and Kevin (Kim), as well as nieces Alaina, Mikayla, Sam, Elisabeth, Brianna; nephews Joshua, Christopher, Steven, Wesley, and Matthew; and numerous grand nieces and nephews. His family blood relation and otherwise was the heart of his world.

Donald's faith was unwavering. He loved the Lord deeply and believed wholeheartedly that Heaven awaited him. He often encouraged others to seek guidance through prayer and trusted that God always had a plan. His spiritual strength served as an anchor not only for himself but also for those around him.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Donald was a passionate supporter of Philadelphia teams—the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers held a special place in his heart. Whether celebrating victories or enduring defeats, he remained loyal to his teams through every season. His love for music spanned genres—from classical compositions to soaring power ballads—reflecting the depth of his appreciation for beauty in all its forms.

Donald was predeceased by his father Donald T. Creek Sr., grandfathers Homer Elwood Creek and Llyod Hagar, and grandmothers Mildred Fay Creek and Dorothy Hagar. Their memories remained close to him throughout his life.

A celebration of Donald's life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Burgess Funeral Home located at 1800 Charlotte Highway in Lancaster, South Carolina. The service will begin at 11:00 AM.
