INDIAN LAND, SC::::::::: Mr. Donald Lorin Comstock, age 90, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in his home. He was born December 19, 1925 in Rockford, Illinois, a son of the late Lorin James Comstock and Ina Marie Anderson Comstock and was the husband of Germaine Parmentier Comstock. Mr. Comstock retired from the United States Postal Service. He served our country in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Lake Wylie Lutheran Church and a former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Naples, Florida.

Mr. Comstock is survived by his wife of 67 years, Germaine Parmentier Comstock; a daughter, Bonnie Peterson and her husband, Paul of Indian Land, SC; a son, Rev. Dr. Kenneth A. Comstock and his wife, Cynthia of Lake Mills, WI; 4 grandchildren, Eric and Scott Peterson, Katherine Mould and Timothy Comstock; and 6 great grandchildren, Barrett and Jackson Mould, Payton, Carson, Harper and Nora Peterson.

Mr. Comstock was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wilbur Comstock.

The family will hold a memorial service for Mr. Comstock at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church.
