Mrs. Dolores Pfahlert, age 86, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at her home. She was born September 30, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Arthur Charles Miller and Lila Wilcox Miller and was the wife of Robert Pfahlert. Mrs. Pfahlert loved decorating and celebrating all holidays and occasions.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed sending cards to family and friends.  Mrs. Pfahlert enjoyed spending time with her neighbors in her Edgewater Community.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all.  Mrs. Pfahlert was a member of Douglas Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Pfahlert is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert Pfahlert; her daughter, Bobbi Ann Helgeson and her husband, Jerry; two grandchildren, Ashley Helgeson and Robert Helgeson and his wife, Krystene; a brother, Arthur Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pfahlert was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard Miller; and a step-brother, Charles "Chuck" Cantrell.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Pfahlert will be 11:00 am Friday, February 8, 2019 at Douglas Presbyterian Church officiated by Rev. Harris Ricks.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Proceeded by luncheon in the fellowship hall.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Hwy., Lancaster, SC and from 10:00 -11:00 am, Friday, February 8, 2019, one hour prior to the service, at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Douglas Presbyterian Church, 2325 Sunday Place, Lancaster, SC 29720.
