LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Diane Threatt Dixon, age 64, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Piedmont Hospital in Rock Hill. She was born September 7, 1951, in Charlotte, a daughter of the late David Henry Threatt and Virginia May Green Threatt and the wife of the late Jimmy Lee Dixon. Mrs. Dixon loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She enjoyed cooking birthday dinners to celebrate her familys special day. Shopping and going to lunch with her friends was another one of her favorite things to do. Mrs. Dixon was of the Methodist Faith.

Mrs. Dixon is survived by a son, Tony Dixon and his wife, Brandy Jones; a daughter, Tracee Dixon Mangum and her husband, Timbo; four grandchildren, Michael Willis, Kaitlyn Mangum, Zachary Dixon, and Dillon Dixon; and a sister, Lynn Threatt.

Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmy Dixon; and a brother, David Threatt.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Dixon will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Hopewell United Methodist Church by Rev. David Inman. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 3:00 pm, prior to the service in the Family Ministry Center at Hopewell United Methodist Church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Hopewell United Methodist Church, 3734 Heyward Hough Road, Lancaster, SC 29720 or St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 6000 Fairview Rd #305, Charlotte, NC 28210.
